Overview

Norrcom are a local company with national ideas. Our company has grown from supporting Paraparaumu College to now supporting more than 25 schools and 40 businesses. Our philosophy is simple; we want to help make ICT work smarter, with a clearer understanding and better value for money. Following on from this ideal, we want to spread the word to all New Zealand schools.

Our team of technical consultants work together to develop coherent strategies for the long term.  No quick fixes, just tried methodology at prices that are cost effective.

Norrcom are pleased to announce two new offerings.

NZ WIDE Consultancy

We help schools identify key areas for growth, analyse trends and potential future needs, then advise on the best strategy. This is often part of a 3-5Y ICT Plan, something schools need to adopt if ICT is to be a true part of the curriculum within the school structure. This service does not mean your current ICT staff need to be concerned, Norrcom involve them in all discussions and work alongside them. Once a plan is identified Norrcom can project manage its implementation, this may take weeks or years depending on the requirement.

Installation and remote support

Our team of technicians have installed and support a vast array of servers, from Microsoft to Novell, from Apple to Linux. Our strength lies in our ability to understand our customers’ needs and install a reliable system that will cope with your present and future requirements. In addition to our consultancy service we can purchase, install and configure your server system. We also offer the ability to remotely monitor via Netsupport. This offering again can be tailored to work with your technicians.

Easily, and with the ministry funded MS licensing its very easy, yet very effective.

How big a server do we need?
